Creativity Toolbox: Tips, Tricks & Secrets to Becoming a More Creative Photographer

"In this panel discussion on creativity and the creative process, photographers Keziah Kelsey, Lacey Ehrenkranz Monroe, Twyla Jones, and Mae Burke divulge their artistic turning points, epiphanies, and best kept secrets for cultivating a powerful creative voice. Each panelist will reveal her go-to tips and tricks for incorporating more creativity into her own shooting and reveal how gear helped or hindered her as a creative. Moderator Caroline Jensen will also lead photographers through a powerfully honest discussion about tackling challenges, overcoming fears, and pushing the creative envelope. You'll leave this program moved, changed, and empowered with new creativity tools that you can try at home. The panel will end with questions from the audience."

Cultivating & Applying Inspiration for the Family Centered Photographer

"In this class I will give students practical resources for cultivating inspiration, walk them through an active participation exercise to get their creative juices flowing, outline specific ways to incorporate those sources of inspiration into their personal or professional portfolio, walk them through my client questionnaire, and bring it all together with a maternity session demonstration. This class is perfect for the hobbyist photographing her own family and the professional looking to add depth to her portfolio. This class will take place in a natural light shooting room in the hotel, but we may venture outside for the shooting demonstration if the light is great. During the last 10 minutes of class students will have an opportunity to photograph our lovely maternity model, so bring your camera if you'd like to shoot."
