I couldn't imagine a better way to end 2013 than with this gorgeous mama.I have known Samantha's family since I was about 15 years old. Her father and I served in Thailand together, and both of her parents love my family like we are one of their own. When she got engaged, her now husband was known as the "hot stuff from Dallas that shot for the Cowboys". Since then they have built a gorgeous, successful wedding photography business that is the stuff of legend.
Not only is Samantha a beautiful woman on the outside, but she has demonstrated grace and kindness to me like no one else has. As I started my photography business, there wasn't any question I couldn't ask her. From gear, to processing, to navigating the scary waters of publication, Samantha always listened and always had an answer.
It was an absolute honor to finally photograph her as she is expecting her second daughter any day now. We went out to my favorite spot on Mustang Island, patiently waited for the perfect light as the sun set, and had an absolute blast.
