Traveling Texas
These past few months have been a whirlwind of school and beach and moving and lifting and eating and traveling from Rockport to Port Aransas, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Houston, Austin, Dallas, and Fort Worth.
The flow between spring, summer and fall was sometimes seamless, sometimes shocking, but sharing it with the families I have the privilege of shooting is something I wouldn’t trade for the world. Excited for what the chilly months have in store!

Gabby Waiting for Baby Bartels
Gabby has the most genuine, clear laugh of any person I know
It probably has something to do with her constant pursuit of joy and love that she seems to find waiting around every bend her journey takes her.
As the owner and creator over at A Rolling Stone Jewels, Gabby finds precious things and presents them to the world in a delicate, joyful manner. I can’t wait to see how this intentional heart has prepared my longtime friend to be the best mother.
Gabby returned to our hometown, Rockport, with her husband DaCoda to celebrate their baby’s soon to come arrival, and I’m so glad to have been able to grab a few photographs of her despite it being the coldest, windiest day of the year.

Maternity in the City
I kicked off my summer by heading to DFW to visit some of my very favorite clients who were ALL expecting their second babies
The Haczynskis have been with me since they were pregnant with their now six year old. Lindsay is one of the most joyous women I’ve ever met, Greg is one of the most supportive husbands, Liam is one of the silliest boys… I love photographing this family and cannot wait to meet their newest member
